Vehicle Description 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am This is a beautiful solid excellent classic in top running/driving condition that has recently passed inspection.
Very reliable and has been on two Bandit Runs.
Ready for fall shows & events.
Southern car that had an extensive restoration in 2013 (all receipts included) and I have done additional work since 2015 purchase (all receipts included).

2013 Restoration @26K miles:
403 numbers matching engine rebuilt with mild street cam.
New 200R4 4speed overdrive trans with shift kit and manual torque converter lockup that adds additional overdrive (original trans included).
New Fuel tank.
New Rear Springs & Bushings (originals included in sale).
Custom Dual exhaust with X pipe.
JVC Digital Media Head unit with Bluetooth hands free phone connectivity.
New Carpet, Door Panels, Head Liner, Sun Visors, Front Seat Backs.
2015
Upgrades:
New Decal/Stripe set New Front Seat Covers New 3.
08 Rear End New Power Steering Pump/Hoses New Horns New Rear Drum Brakes/Cylinders New Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses The car runs out and cruises very nicely on the highway with the OD transmission and 3.
08 rear end.
Original cruise control is operational.
Upgraded cam gives the car a great sound.
Shaker has a spring loaded door at the back that opens up when accelerating.
All A/C components are intact and it runs but there is a leak somewhere and it won't hold a charge.
I am guessing paint is roughly 20 years old.
Clear coat is a little thin on some areas around edges of the hood.
